The OVMSA area of OVID allows you to view and request access to documents:
When you click on the OVMSA link on the menu bar at the top of your homepage in OVID you will see several menu options:
We'll look at these in turn:
OVMSA - Home - This page lists the operator organisations in OVID and confirms if your organisation is listed in their distribution policy. You can view further details by clicking on the blue arrow to the right of each entry:
When you view the details of a particular organisation that show you are not in their distribution policy, you can make a request to obtain access by clicking on the "Request Document Access" button in the top right hand corner of the screen:
At the next screen you can submit the request by clicking on the "Send Request" button.
The request will then be reviewed by the operator and a response will be sent via an automated e-mail that will confirm their decision.
Distribution Policy Requests - This screen lists any requests for access to documents that have been made and shows their current status:
Publication History - This shows all documents both published and archived that can be access by your organisation and allows you to download them directly from the page:
E-mail Configuration - This allows you to add up to five e-mail addresses of users in your organisation who will receive notifications relating to requests for access and is selected you can also receive a notification for each newly published document that your organisation is allowed to access:
