Some inspectors have reported issues when trying to access the online editor when using the Google Chrome Browser.
When some users go to https://editor.ocimf-ovid.org/ and log in, rather than being allowed into their editor they see an error stating "Adobe Flash Player is Blocked" and no option is provided to allow Flash to be unblocked and continue.
This issue is occurring due to a change to Google Chrome that does not by default allow Flash Player to run within the browser. The option to use flash is still available but it does need to be enabled. Once this is enabled you may then be prompted each time you login to the editor to enable flash. By default options to use flash seem to be disabled and need to be enabled in the browser settings to allow you to use it.
To do this go to the settings menu by clicking in the top right hand corner of the Chrome browser window and clicking on "Settings" from the menu:
This will take you into the main settings screen. Scroll down the screen and then click on "Advanced":
Next scroll down to "Site Settings" and click on it to open it:
Then click on "Flash" from the menu:
Click on the slider next to "Block sites from running flash":
The slider should then change to blue and the "Block sites from running flash" text is replaced with "Ask First".
Once completed, close the browser settings. You should now be able to access the online editor, you should now be prompted after logging in with a screen like this:
Click on the notification to enable flash. This should then allow you to continue and use the online editor as normal.
