In order to use an OVPQ2 document in the OVPQ2 editor you will need to login to your OVID account and download the previous particulars document in the new format.
To do this login to your OVID operators account, click on "vessels" in the blue bar at the top of the screen, then locate and open the relevant vessel record.
Once you have the record open, click on the "Vessel Actions - OVPQ, Crew and Data Updates" link:
Next Click on the "Edit" button under the OVPQ heading on the left hand side of the screen:
At the next screen you will be presented with a few options further down the page. Scroll down and you will see the following options:
Select the option to download to the OVPQ2 for the Desktop Editor.
Once you have downloaded the file, open your OVPQ2 editor software and click on the "Import Document" button:
Browse for the file you have just downloaded, select it and then click on "Open":
Once completed you will see a confirmation that the file is imported:
The imported document will then appear in your document list, double click on the listed file to open it:
You can the update the OVPQ document as required. Once completed, click on the "Export" button:
Save the file to a convenient location:
Once saved go back to your OVID account and go back to the OVPQ Editing screen within the vessel record where you downloaded the original file. Scroll down and click on the "Upload OVPQ from Desktop Editor" button:
At the next screen, click on the "Browse" button:
Then browse for the file exported from the editor software and click on "Open":
Finally, click on the upload button:
The file will then be uploaded, finally you will need to publish the file. Go back to the edit OVPQ area of the vessel record and click on the "Publish OVPQ Document" button:
