OVID Inspectors can update their experience details in their inspector profile. To do this login to your account, then click on your username in the top right hand corner of the screen, then select "Your User Profile":
At the next screen, click on the "Edit Inspector Profile" button:
At the Inspector profile screen you will see several sections relating to qualifications and experience that can be updated. The first section relates to qualifications. Here you can review and update your qualifications:
The next section refers to sea service experience. If you wish to add new experience details, click on the "Add New Sea Service" button:
You can then complete the relevant details on the sections on screen:
Once completed, click on the "save" button.
Once you have added your sea service details, a breakdown of the details entered is displayed showing the type of service that has been entered and the duration
Once the details have been entered they will need to verified by OCIMF, the entries will say "Pending OCIMF Review". Once the details have been reviewed and accepted this will update to show the entry has been approved.
The next section allows to update your home and work locations:
Finally if you wish to add any supporting documents relating to experience and qualifications, you can upload them in the "File Attachments" section by clicking the "Add an attachment" button.
Once you have completed all of your changes, click the "Save Profile and send to OCIMF For Review" to complete the process.
