Vessel operators participating within the SIRE 2.0 Phased Implementation can request a SIRE 2.0 Inspection upon a tanker within their fleet using the current SIRE Inspection Request Portal.
The option for a SIRE 2.0 Inspection will only become available once the vessel meets the following criteria:
- the vessel is designated as a tanker within SIRE; and
- has been assigned a vessel photograph template; and
- has a published HVPQ6.
Vessel Type and Vessel Photograph Template are set via the 'Edit Vessel' screen:
The vessel's HVPQ6 is published via the HVPQ6 Details screen:
Once the vessel meets the following criteria;
- the vessel is designated as a tanker within SIRE; and
- has been assigned a vessel photograph template; and
- has a published HVPQ6.
The option to select a SIRE 2.0 Inspection will be available within the SIRE Inspection Request Portal.
During the SIRE 2.0 Phased Implementation, SIRE 2.0 transition inspections can be performed upon vessels within the fleet, in addition to commercial VIQ7 inspections.
