Change Tablet Power Button Actions Setup

Android 14 deployed to i.safe 930.1 tablets will change the behaviour of the Power Button to start Gemini AI instead of opening the power menu. This causes unexpected behaviour in the inspection application. The only way to correct this is to manually reset the button to open the power menu. 

Follow these simple directions to change the behaviour back. 
 

Tablet Setup 

1. Tap “Settings” icon on the home Screen 

1. In the Settings menu, scroll down and tap “System”

1. Now tap “Gestures”

1. Then tap “Press & hold power button” 
    

1. Next, you must change the Press & hold power button setting to “Power menu” 

1. Verify the change has taken effect by holding the “Power Button”. You should see the Power menu 
    
   

1. Press the “Home button” to exit from Settings and return to the desktop
