After downloading a SIRE 2.0 inspection package (CVIQ), opening the inspection may result in the message:
'Error opening inspection - The inspection may be corrupted. Delete it from this device?'
In most occasions this may be related to weak or intermittent internet connection when downloading the CVIQ. Please confirm connection quality and attempt to download the inspection again using the following guide:
- select 'Yes' to delete it from the device
- log out of the SIRE 2.0 Inspection Application
- log into the SIRE 2.0 Inspection Application
- the application will attempt to redownload the inspection package
If the redownloaded inspection package fails to open please contact OCIMF Support via support@ocimf.org providing the following details:
- your inspector ID
- the name of the vessel being inspected
- the name of the inspection report
- a current contact number
