SIRE Operator - File Upload Issues - Attachments and Certificates

Sometimes PDF Files have added encryption, that prevents the successful upload onto our system. Opening and saving the file as a new Adobe Acrobat file, removes the encryption and allows for successful upload.

To successfully remove the encryption and upload the file, follow the below steps:

1. Open the PDF file in Adobe Acrobat (right click on the file and select Open with -> Adobe Acrobat)
2. Click on the Print icon on the top right of the document
3. Select "Microsoft Print to PDF"

1. Then click Print
2. Create a name for the new file and click Save
3. Please then open the file again to ensure there is no requirement for a password still in place

Upload the newly saved file onto the system
