BIRE operator - Requesting a BIRE Inspection

Vessel operators can request a BIRE Inspection upon a barge within their fleet using the current SIRE Inspection Request Portal.

The option for a BIRE Inspection will only become available once the vessel is of type barge or other.

The vessel type is set via the "Edit Vessel" screen accessed via the button highlighted in yellow:



Please ensure the vessel type is either one of the barge or tug options. If your vessel is not one of these, please select other.



Once your vessel is one of those types, the option to select a BIRE Inspection will be available within the SIRE Inspection Request Portal.
