Once an inspection is submitted by the inspector, it will change it's status to "Submitted" and will be made available to the Submitting member, who will check the report. At this stage, a PDF of the report is published.
If the Submitting Member believes that changes should be made to the report, they will request a Resubmission. This will change the status of the report to "Resubmission" and will make the report available again to the inspector.
As this is a Resubmission, the inspector will only be able to submit the report through the online editor.
Once the report is submitted, the status changes to "Submitted" and the report is again made available to the Submitting Member for review. A PDF report with the changes made by the inspector IS NOT generated. At this stage, the Submitting Member can request another resubmission, until the quality of the report is agreeable to the Submitting Member.
If the Submitting Member checks the report and believes everything is in order after submission/resubmission, they can Validate/Process the report. This will change the status of the report to "Submitter Validated" and the report will be made available to the Vessel Operator to add comments.
At this stage a PDF with the changes made by the inspector IS NOT generated.
Once the Vessel Operator adds their comments to the report, they can select to Publish. Alternatively, the report will be published in 14 days. This will change the report status to Published.
At this stage a PDF with all changes and comments is generated and made available.
