The easiest way to edit an existing particulars document for one of your vessels is to use the online editor that can be accessed via a SIRE vessel record.
To do this go to the vessels area of your SIRE account and open the vessel record:
To begin the process of editing your particulars click on the "Edit" button located just below the "Vessel Particulars" heading:
At the next screen click on the edit button just below the "Edit Online" heading:
This will then take you to the particulars editing screen. Here you can view each question and update them as required:
You can navigate through each section by clicking on the heading in the list the left of the page:
The section you have selected will then be highlighted in blue and the questions will appear on the right hand side of the page. Work through each section and question you wish to update. All entries are saved as a draft document in real time so there is no save button to click.
Finally, once you are certain that all updates have been made and you are happy the contents are accurate you can publish the report by clicking on the publish button in the menu bar at the top of the page:
Once this has been selected the document is then updated and replaces any previous particulars document. This newly published document then becomes immediately available to be viewed by SIRE members and inspectors.
