When creating an inspection in the SIRE editor software, you will see a check box as highlighted in the example below:
This checkbox should only be selected when a report is to be audited. Once this checkbox has been selected and the save button is also clicked, the checkbox cannot be amended.
If your inspection is not meant to be audited and the checkbox has been selected in error, the inspection will fail to submit and generate an error. This issue can usually be resolved by carrying out a hard reset of the editor software which will clear the local database of the software and remove the checkbox from the inspection.
