SIRE Submitting Companies - Exclusions List

As a SIRE Submitting Company you can use the exclusions list to exclude Operators, Vessels and Inspectors from taking part in SIRE inspections where required.

To view and update your organisations exclusion list login to SIRE and then click on your username located in the top right hand corner of the screen, then select "Organisation Profile" from the drop down menu: 

At the organisation profile page you will see a menu on the far right of the page. Click on exclusions to expand the available list of exclusion settings pages:

There are specific settings for adding and removing exclusions for Vessel Operators, Inspectors, and Vessels.

We will take a look at each of these in turn.

Vessel Operator Exclusion List:

If you select the Vessel Operator Exclusion List option you are taken to the main operator exclusion list summary page, which will show any operators that are currently excluded by your organisation and stated reason for removal. It will also show any operators that have been previously excluded but removed and will confirm who removed them as well as the removal date:

If you wish to add a vessel operator to the exclusion list, click on the "Add to Exclusion List" in the top right hand corner of the screen: 

 At the next screen, choose the required operator from the drop down list:

Once selected, please add a reason for exclusion. Once completed, click on the "Save" button:

The operator will then be shown on the main summary page under the "Operator Exclusions List". If you wish to remove an operator listed here, click on the red delete button to the right of the entry as highlighted by the red box below:

At the next screen you will be asked to enter a reason for the removal of the operator, enter the reason details and click on the red "Remove" button:

When you return to the summary page, the operator will be listed under the "Operators removed from Exclusion List" heading.

 Inspector Exclusion List:

If you select the Inspector Exclusion List option you are taken to the main inspector exclusion list summary page, which will show any inspectors that are currently excluded by your organisation and stated reason for removal. It will also show any inspectors that have been previously excluded but removed and will confirm who removed them as well as the removal date:

 If you wish to add a vessel operator to the exclusion list, click on the "Add to Exclusion List" in the top right hand corner of the screen: 

 At the next screen, choose the required inspector from the drop down list:

 Once selected, please add a reason for exclusion. Once completed, click on the "Save" button:

The inspector will then be shown on the main summary page under the "Inspector Exclusions List". If you wish to remove an inspector listed here, click on the red delete button to the right of the entry as highlighted by the red box below:

At the next screen you will be asked to enter a reason for the removal of the inspector, enter the reason details and click on the red "Remove" button:

When you return to the summary page, the inspector will be listed under the "Inspectors removed from Exclusion List" heading.

Vessel Exclusion List:

If you select the Vessel Exclusion List option you are taken to the main vessel exclusion list summary page, which will show any vessels that are currently excluded by your organisation and stated reason for removal. It will also show any vessels that have been previously excluded but removed and will confirm who removed them as well as the removal date:

 If you wish to add a vessel to the exclusion list, click on the "Add to Exclusion List" in the top right hand corner of the screen: 

  At the next screen, choose the required vessel from the drop down list

 Once selected, please add a reason for exclusion. Once completed, click on the "Save" button:

The vessel will then be shown on the main summary page under the "Vessel Exclusions List". If you wish to remove an vessel listed here, click on the red delete button to the right of the entry as highlighted by the red box below:

 At the next screen you will be asked to enter a reason for the removal of the vessel, enter the reason details and click on the red "Remove" button:

When you return to the summary page, the vessel will be listed under the "Vessels removed from Exclusion List" heading.
