An issue that can sometimes occur for SIRE inspectors when you create a commissioned inspection and find that the commissioner is not listed in your editor software.
This usually occurs if there has been a recent change to your inspector profile and the editor has not communicated properly with the OCIMF servers to download any changes to the commissioners that are available to you.
If you find that a commissioner is missing when creating an inspection the first thing to try is to force the editor to contact the OCIMF servers to ensure all inspector profile details are downloaded correctly to your editor software. You will need to log out of the editor completely and restart, then log back in.
To do this correctly, open the editor software and click on your username in the top right hand corner of the screen:
Click on "Settings "in the drop menu that appears:
Next, click on "User" in the menu bar at the top of the screen:
Next click on the "Logout" button:
The editor should then re-start and prompt you to login again. This will then force it to check your inspector profile, inspection templates etc and download any updates as required (assuming you are online when logging into the editor). Once logged back in, try to create the inspection again and check that the commissioner is now listed.
If the commissioner you expect to see is still missing, please make contact with the SIRE helpdesk by sending an e-mail to siresupport@ocimf.org.
If the issue appears to be caused by your inspector profile not having the commissioner listed, you may need to make contact with the commissioning company to check that they have you listed as a selected inspector, please contact the support team first and we can verify if your profile is set up correctly before contacting them.
