SIRE 2.0 v1.5.0 Tablet Release Guidance

With the release of a new SIRE 2.0 Tablet Application there will be two versions of the application on the tablet at same time.

Current Version

Name: SIRE 2.0

Version: 1.4.45

The current version of the tablet application is highlighted in the screenshot below:

The screenshot below shows the existing tablet application login screen with the current version displayed in the bottom left corner:

New Version

Name: SIRE 2.0 (1.5.0)

Version: 1.5.0

The new version of the tablet application is highlighted in the screenshot below:

The screenshot below shows the login screen of the new tablet application with the updated version number in the bottom left corner:

Updates to Inspection List

An inspection that has been downloaded onto one version of the tablet application can only be opened/updated/submitted by that version. It is not possible to start an inspection on one version of the tablet application and then continue on another version.

i.e. An inspection started on the SIRE 2.0 tablet application must be completed on this version and cannot be downloaded to the SIRE 2.0 (1.5.0) tablet application.

Updates to Support Icon

When viewing the inspections list there is an icon in the left hand menu that will allow you to send diagnostic information to OCIMF support.

Click the icon highlighted in the screenshot below to open the “Send data to OCIMF Support” dialog:

Selecting the “Yes” option will send the diagnostic data to OCIMF Support to assist in further investigation:
