When creating or updating terminal details in MTIS, you can add specific details for each berth.
If you want to add a berth you will need to click on the "Edit Terminal Profile" button from the main terminal page:
At the "Edit terminal" screen, you will see the "Berths" tab. Click on the green "Add Berth" button to add a new berth.
This will then allow you to then complete the basic details of the berth (Name, Berth Type etc) along with all the technical dimensions. Once completed, click on the "Save" button at the bottom of the page to create the berth.
The berth will then be listed under the Terminal Berths heading below the MTPQ document in the main terminal details page. You can add further details by clicking on the arrow next to the berth listing. This takes you to the Berth Details page. Here you can add an image of the berth and it's location. You can also edit the Berth MTPQ document by clicking on the yellow "Edit" button.
You can then add as many details as possible to this document. Once you have added this detail, this will show as a percentage complete figure in the berth details page on the main terminal details page.
Important - When completing a berth MTPQ document please bear in mind these are linked to the main MTPQ document. If you have completed all sections of the main MTPQ document but the berth document is less that 100% complete, this is taken into consideration when calculating the overall percentage completed for the main MTPQ. Any incomplete berths will give an overall figure of less than 100% even if the main document has been completed in full.
