SIRE Operator - Creating A PSC Inspection Record

To create a PSC Inspection in SIRE log in to your SIRE operators account. You should then see a PSC Inspections link in the menu bar at the top of the page: 

To add a PSC Inspection click on the green button in the top right hand corner of the screen. You can then select the vessel as required from the drop down list:

Once selected the basic vessel details will appear below your selection, click on the "Confirm" button to continue:

You are then prompted to complete the basic details of the PSC inspection you wish to add, complete the fields as applicable and then click on "Confirm" to contiue: 

You will then be prompted to read a disclaimer, please read the contents carefully and click on "Agree" to continue:

You are then taken to the main draft PSC inspection screen. From here you can add any deficiencies that are relevant along with any additional documents or comments. To add a deficiency click on the "Add Deficiency" button:

You are then prompted to select a deficiency type from a list:

You are then prompted to select the relevant details, then click on "Save" to add it to the main PSC record:

You are then taken back to the main PSC record where the deficiency will be listed. Repeat this process to add more as required. Also ensure that any documents or comments are added by selecting the appropriate button and completing the required steps.

IMPORTANT - Please be aware that draft documents will only remain in draft mode for 24 hours after they were originally created. If the PSC record remains incomplete the report is automatically published once 24 hours has been reached. Please ensure you have all the necessary details to hand when starting the process of creating your record and ensure it contains all of the required details before auto publishing takes place.
